About the game
A grimdark 3v3 arena RTS: lead one hero and an army that never stops coming.
One paragraph
Dunya Arena is a 3v3 arena RTS inspired by the custom-map battles a generation of strategy players grew up on. Six halls ring one battlefield, and each hall raises a new wave of soldiers on its own, every few seconds, for the whole match. You don't manage workers. You pick one of 20 heroes, choose what your hall's troops become, lead them into the fight for the Favor of the Gods at the centre of the arena, and win by razing every enemy hall.
Long
Dunya Arena puts you in command of one hero and an army that never stops coming. Your hall raises fresh troops on its own for the whole match. Commit it to a faction (the human Confederation, the elven archers of the Cooperative, or the lizardfolk Coalition) and upgrade it through four tiers, and every soldier it sends from then on is stronger.
At the centre of the arena stands the Reliquary and the Favor of the Gods: heroes who hold it refill their mana fast and earn gold for their whole team. Kill gold is shared, a hero on a streak carries a bounty, and a team that falls behind earns more for every comeback kill.
Each of the 20 heroes has three abilities and an ultimate, levels to 20, and spends every ability point the way the player chooses. The army takes real RTS orders: attack-move, hold position, shift-queued commands, rally points, and drag-to-draw formation lines.
The world of Dunya was built over more than ten years of tabletop campaigns before it became a game.
Dunya Arena launches in Early Access with 3v3 Ranked, 1v1 Duel, 2v2 and 3v3 Warband, Practice against AI, a Tutorial and Try Hero.

About Sagewright Games
Sagewright Games is a one-person studio, and Dunya Arena is its first game. In the developer's words:
Some of my fondest childhood memories are of playing mods and custom games in Neverwinter Nights, Half-Life and, of course, Warcraft 3. I sank hundreds of hours into custom maps for each of them, but no game got more of my time than Warcraft 3: The Frozen Throne, and within WC3, no map got more of it than Footmen Frenzy. Before I could afford a Ventrilo or TeamSpeak server, my buddies and I would get on a three-way phone call and play for hours.
Dunya Arena is my attempt to capture that excitement in my own vision, set in a tabletop world I've been building for more than ten years across Dungeons & Dragons and Pathfinder 2e campaigns.
On AI-generated assets
Dunya Arena's Steam page discloses where AI tools were used. In the developer's words:
I'm a solo developer. I've always wanted to make a game, but never had the resources to build one. AI tools let me make this passion project at a cost I could afford, and the Steam page discloses where they were used. The goal of Early Access is to replace the AI-generated assets with work by human artists. If the game does well, that's the plan for next year.
